DOG NEWS REPORTS:
Dear Breeder/fancier -

For the first time in history, you can customize U.S. postage stamps with pictures of your dogs.  Not just of your breed, but of your own dog: your Champion, your couch dog, your litter.  Fully authorized U.S. postage stamps, usable the same as an issue of the U.S. Postal Service.

This has never been possible before, but thanks to a special relationship created with the USPS, it is possible today.  To learn the details, just click on www.dogpostage.com.  This site was created by a long-time exhibitor of purebred dogs (Borzois) and former Show Chairman, and offers an extraordinary opportunity to create personal postage for your kennel, your breed club, or just for yourself.

Enjoy our site.  We think you will use it again and again, both for yourself and for gifts.

CONNECTION BETWEEN LAWN CHEMICALS AND CANCER IN DOGS

Researchers at Purdue University have found an association between the risk of bladder cancer in Scottish Terriers and the dogs' exposure to lawns treated with herbicides. This ScienCentral News has more.....

New Leash on Life

A dog frolicking on a green lawn is a sight both familiar and heartwarming. But veterinary researchers at Purdue University have discovered that lawns treated with herbicides might contribute to the high rate of bladder cancer in Scottish Terriers.

This research appeared in the April 15, 2004 issue of the Journal of The American Veterinary Medical Assoc., and was funded by the Scottish Terrier Club of America and the AKC Canine Health Foundation. The complete article may be found at:
